They say your actions shape your life but sometimes in spite of several efforts, we don't get the desired results. I still remember when I was struggling to get a job. My mornings used to start with sending proposals or job applications on LinkedIn and end with rejections. The constant failure was making me drown in negativity. Every time, my hope whispered, "try one more time", my anxiety shouted, “what’s the point?’’
And this somewhere happens with most of us, doesn’t it?

Whenever we are not able to decide, our inner voices pop up. One reminds us of the negative past experiences and suggests not to repeat it and another tries to push us to do it by feeding us positivity. When we start to believe the negative inner voice more than another, we experience negative outcomes. Faith counselling or therapy is an effective yet simple technique that helps us train our mind to focus on the positive aspect of life. What we think, we believe and what we believe, we become. So, if you want to take charge of your life, you need to reconsider how you think. Even the slightest negative thought in the morning can ruin the possibility of being positive throughout the day.

Derived from the Holy Bible, faith therapy helps in emotional healing, spiritual growth and overall life improvement by using Biblical methods, models and processes based on faith. A faith healer neither is a medical professional nor a psychologist, he simply helps people to believe in the existence of God and tries to find out the core reason of their problems to fix them. There have been many incidents where people who were on the verge of death, healed permanently just by believing that they could.
The term faith therapy may sound a little complicated to many but it's simple to practise. Our life is nothing but our thoughts. Our thoughts are linked to our subconscious mind and the subconscious mind is linked to our belief/faith. If you have strong faith that something can be done, no matter what you will end up doing it. But it isn’t as simple as it sounds. It requires time and regular practice.
In order to attract positive outcomes in life, it is essential that you clear out negative past memories to reprogram your subconscious mind. However, despite having negative past life experiences, if you strongly believe that you will get a job, pass a test, get married or no matter what you desire, it will most likely happen exactly the way you want. This can simply be done by eliminating limiting beliefs and creating new positive beliefs in mind.
Simple habits to develop strong faith..
Your subconscious mind helps you achieve anything that you want in life but if you didn’t succeed at it previously, it will remind you of that. However, with faith, you can change this thought. Here are some of the simple habits that will help you develop strong faith.
1. Listen to positive affirmation:
We can not control what happens to us but we can surely take charge of how we think. Positive affirmations are the best way to feed your mind positivity. Start your day by listening to positive affirmations based on whichever aspect of your life i.e. career, relationship, emotional wellbeing, health, financial stability etc., you want to fix. After some time, you will start to notice a positive change in your life.
2. Believe in God :
Faith counselling is about making people believe in the existence of God. In order to develop positive thinking, you should believe that God will help you survive tough situations. The holy energy of the Lord keeps us positive even in the most negative situation, helping us come out of it.
3. Implement positive thinking:
Being positive may not solve the problem but it gives us the strength to fight against it. There is this old proverb, "if you win the mind, you can win any battle". Our limiting beliefs make us feel anxious, self doubt, worried but by thinking and believing positives, you can simply change the way you see life.
4. Apply affirmations :
Affirmations work the best when done at an appropriate time. You can not sit and say I want this, I want that. If you want affirmations to help you get desired outcomes, you must do it when your subconscious mind is the most active. Right before going to sleep, speak 5 things that you want in your life in the present tense. For e.g., I am worthy. I am an Officer in XYZ company. I am capable. Try it out, it works (for a long term).
5. Make the most of manifestation:
Previously, we talked about how we can apply affirmations. Manifestation is the name of the process discussed above. You need to believe in order to attract desired things in life. To manifest, you need to believe (that you can), take actions, feel grateful and let go of any limiting belief that is stopping you from living the life that you want.
Anyone can change his life just by developing simple habits. The power of positive thinking, faith and subconscious mind is enormous. Most people still don't know about these which is why they are not able to achieve desired results in spite of working hard day and night.
