Generally, winters make our skin dry and dull. Excessive cold reduces the body oil and which results in a rough texture of the skin. Curd acts as a natural moisturizer that can help to get back the essential oil deficiency.

Procedure:

i. Take two teaspoons of plain curd/yogurt.

ii. Massage on your face and neck and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.

iii. Rinse it off with normal water.

Doing this regularly in winters will help you in getting nourished and soft skin.

2. Massage cream

Curd can act as a massage cream. It carries lactic acid which is best for anti-aging properties.

Procedure:

i. Take 2 teaspoons of curd.

ii. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey.

iii. Massage on your face in an upward direction.

iv. Try 3-4 basic massage steps including the neck area.

v. Rinse it off with cold water.

You can do this once a week and its regular use can give you wrinkles-free and poreless skin.

We often use different ingredients to make our face pack. The use of curd in the face pack improves the consistency as there is no need to add water and gives enough moisture that doesn't make the skin dry out after washing the face.

Procedure:

i. Take 2 teaspoons of fuller earth powder (Multani mitti)

ii. Add 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder (Chandan)

iii. Add curd in the proportion that balances the consistency.

iv. Apply a thick layer on the face and neck and leave it on for 15 minutes.

v. After it dries out, take water and remove it while massaging.
